Giants news, 10/21: Rashad Jennings "takes a lot of credit for this L"

New York Giants headlines for Wednesday, 10/21.

Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, New York Giants fans! Here are some headlines for your Wednesday weekday.

Jennings: "I feel I was a big part of us losing this game"

In the Giants'' 27-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night, Big Blue running back Rashad Jennings had a critical fumble on a screen pass play in the second quarter. After crossing the first down marker, Jennings was tackled from behind by Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins, who jarred the ball loose. After that, Eagles linebacker DeMeco Ryans pounced on the ball and the Giants offense never got close to scoring again. After the game, Jennings took some responsibility for the loss.

"It was a momentum swing,’’ Jennings said. "Didn’t hold onto the ball. We put our defense in a tough situation. Our defense played well and we kind of left them hanging. I feel I was a big part of us losing this game."
