The news on the injury front was somewhat better for the New York Giants on Friday. Linebackers Jon Beason (concussion) and Jonathan Casillas (calf) returned to practice as the Giants continued to prepare for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Wide receiver Odell Beckham (hamstring), linebacker Devon Kennard (hamstring) and wide receiver Victor Cruz (calf) continued to be sidelined.
Head coach Tom Coughlin said that wide receiver Rueben Randle (hamstring) and defensive ends George Selvie (calf) and Robert Ayers (hamstring) would practice for a second straight day.
The Giants have a recovery day Saturday and then a light practice on Sunday. Head coach Tom Coughlin said he hoped Beckham could practice on Sunday, but that he could still play Monday night even if he does not work.
"It would be good if we knew in advance, so we could think a little about that," Coughlin said. "Yeah, that would be good. Does it preclude? No."
The Eagles expect Beckham to play.
Chip Kelly: Our approach is Odell Beckham is playing. We'll see 13 on Monday night. He's a very competitive player. He's playing
