Fantasy Football: FanDuel Week 5 tournament lineup

DFS has come under fire this past week on the tail of a NY Times article, but according to all the entries and tournaments filling up, it hasn't done anything to slow down the popularity of the hottest thing in fantasy football since Priest Holmes.

I don't want to spend time preaching about my thoughts on the DFS scandal that erupted this week; I will post an article next week with my full thoughts on the matter.  For now, I will stick to my roster for the FanDuel Sunday Millionaire Maker tournament. Last week we discussed stacking, and that was certainly the theme of my roster this week.  Proceed with caution, this stack is a painful one for us Gmen fans....it's the Patriots.

We are, however, cheering for the Patriots this week, as they head down to Jerry's world for a clash with the Pokes.  In brief, here are the catalysts for my Patriots stacked lineup:

1. The Patriots are coming off a bye week.

2.  The Cowboys defense has been getting torched by inferior offenses.

3.  Ol' Jer and Greg Hardy decided to make comments about Gisele to the media......GOOD CALL GUYS.

Tom Brady, QB, NE, $8800

The team that maximizes bulletin-board material more than any got a healthy dose this week from Jerry and Greg Hardy when they made comments about Gisele. The Patriots were already going to shred the Cowboys defense, but this ensures they will not let off the gas late in the game.

Dion Lewis, RB, NE, $6900

I think the Pats lean on the passing game against Dallas, and Lewis sees 10-15 carries and 5+ targets against a shaky secondary.

Le'Veon Bell, RB, PIT, $9000

Pay up for your studs, especially on primetime against a defense who was just lit up by guys named Duke and Isaiah.

Kendall Wright, WR, TEN, $5900

The Bills have really struggled covering the slot this year, and the Mariota/Wright connection looks like the real deal. His upside/cost represents true value. Coming off a bye, with a weak running game, I see the Titans peppering Wright with quick hitting crossing routes, letting Wright do what he does best, YAC.

Marlon Brown, WR, BAL, $4500

Speaking of value, Brown is at minimum cost and will be a starting WR this week against the Browns abysmal defense.  Everyone will be on Kamar Aiken this week, which is why I'll take the cheaper option with potentially more upside. Brown is 6'5" and can run, and I see Flacco taking some shots down field at home against their division rival.

Julian Edelman, WR, NE, $7700

"Thou shall not make comments about my QB's super model wife."

Rob Gronkowski, TE, NE, $8400

"Thou shall not make comments about my QB's super model wife."

Josh Lambo, K, SD, $4500

Hate spending budget on kickers, and I like Lambo in a potentially high scoring affair on MNF at home.

NY Giants, DST, $4300

This feels so good to right....THE GIANTS DEFENSE IS GOOD. And we get the hapless Niners "offense" this week at home on SNF.  Colin Kaepernick has lost all confidence, and I see Spagnuolo unleashing hell and blitzes this week.
