NFL mock draft roundup 2015: Recent Giants picks from across the Internet

Let's begin looking around and see if early mock drafts offer any indication about what the Giants might do.

Who should the New York Giants select in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft, in which they have the ninth overall selection? That will be a source of debate until the draft begins April 29. 'Raptor22' offered his first mock earlier. For comparison, here are some of the early mocks from around the Internet.

This will be the first of many mock draft roundups in the weeks to come. We will put these in a StoryStream so that you can use them as a 'mock draft database' and track how they change over the next four months.

NE Patriots Draft/Loyko Brandon Scherff OL Iowa 12/29/14
RotoWorld/Norris Bud Dupree OLB/DE Kentucky 12/29/14

Here are just a couple of the comments that were made as part of these mocks.

Mocking the Draft's Dan Kadar says Thompson "may not be a stellar pass rusher, but Thompson is an otherwise complete linebacker. He can play man coverage, is a secure tackler against the run and is overall a great athlete. If the top pass rushers are off the board before New York picks, Thompson is a good option."

Mike Loyko of NE Patriots Draft selected Scherfff for the Giants. He says:

"New York must continue their offensive line rebuild. Schreff's versatility would allow the Giants to play him at Offensive Guard initially and then move over to either Right or Left Tackle. A pass rusher like Dante Fowler will be in the mix here as well, but if the Giants get the opportunity to select he best Offensive Lineman in the draft they need to take it."
