Odell Beckham Jr. - World Record Holder?

Odell Beckham and Drew Brees team up to set a new world record.

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Odell Beckham Jr, New York Giants' rookie phenom receiver -- as if you might have confused him with some other Odell Beckham Jr. -- became a household name over the final three quarters of the 2014 season.

Seriously, even my grandmother knows who he is!

Beckham played his way to the 2015 Pro Bowl where he once again stole the show with some mind-boggling catches. Of course, that was nothing new for Giants fans, who watched Beckham make the incredible look routine as he single-handedly rewrote the record books.

And of course, that wasn't the only thing he did with one hand.

That catch took over sports media, and was almost universally hailed as one of the, if not the, greatest catches ever.

And that takes us to Odell's next feat of awesomeness: He will team up Thursday with Drew Brees in an attempt to set the new Guiness World Record for most one-handed catches in a minute. In order to set the record, Beckham must catch at least 10 footballs at distance of at least 10 yards in a minute or less.

The world record attempt is being coordinated by Visa to show how easy it is to pay online with Visa Checkout, building off their earlier commercial.

Fun Fact: Did you know the Guinness Book of Records is itself a world record holder (best selling copyrighted book of all time), and was first created to help settle pub debates?

So, what do you think Giants fans, how many balls will OBJ catch? Will Brees simply run out? Will he be disappointed that after this all he has to throw to is Jimmy Graham?
