The 2015 Senior Bowl, the biggest All-Star showcase game for 2015 NFL Draft hopefuls, will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. ET at Ladd Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Al. The game will be televised by NFL Network.
The game gives draft prospects a chance to strut their stuff in front on NFL talent evaluators under game conditions. In many ways, though, it is secondary to the three days of full-contact practice that are held leading up to the actual event. That is when scouts get to see players up close for the first time, talk to them, get to know what they are all about.
Let's review some of our coverage from the week, and some of the prospects we know the Giants have been in contact with. Walter Football has the most comprehensive list of prospect meetings, though it almost certainly isn't 100 percent complete.
-- Early in the week, 'Invictus' gave you a list of prospects to watch. Keep an eye on these players if you are watching the game.
-- We profiled Northern Iowa running back David Johnson, a player the Giants have talked to and appears to have a skill set the Giants could use.
-- Norfolk State defensive end Lynden Trail is another player who has reportedly gotten the attention of the Giants this week.
-- Game-breaking Ohio State wide receiver Devin Smith is another player the Giants are reportedly interested in.
-- Dan Kadar of SB Nation's Mocking The Draft was in Mobile during the week. Check out his coverage.
