Good morning, New York Giants fans! Let's get your day started with a check of the headlines.
We have already given you a player-by-player look at the Giants' free agents this off-season. Today, Bleacher Report's Pat Traina weighs in with thoughts on five players the Giants need to re-sign.
Odell Beckham Jr. has the best-selling jersey at the NFL Shop web site over the past nine months. Don't forget, we are also offering a custom Beckham t-shirt to commemorate the catch he made against the Dallas Cowboys. We are also looking for new t-shirt ideas.
Roman Oben, who spent part of his 12-year NFL career with the Giants, has been named the league's director of youth and high school football.
Senior Bowl Reports
Aside from 'Deflate-Gate,' the big news going on right now revolves around the Senior Bowl practices. Here are a few observations from various analysts at those workouts.
SB Nation's Dan Kadar offered some first-hand observations of Duke guard Laken Tomlinson [prospect profile] and LSU tackle La'el Collins in his Day 1 practice report.
If you are a believer that an offensive lineman has to be a consideration for the Giants at No. 9 overall, you might want to begin paying attention to Pitt offensive tackle T.J. Clemmings. NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock gushed about Clemmings after Tuesday's practice:
"I believe at the end of the day, if things play out, he'll be a top-10 pick," Mayock said. "He's got beautiful feet. He's a dancing bear. He's a guy that's a pass protector first. He just needs to clean up technique and get stronger, especially in his core areas."
