Super Bowl 49 is set, with the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks to kick off Feb. 1 at 6:30 p.m. ET. The game will be played at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AR., where former New York Giants placekicker Lawrence Tynes will be happy to remind you that the Patriots are 0-2 in Super Bowls.
The Seahawks opened as two-point favorites, but the line has quickly shifted to Seattle being a one-point favorite.
Who are you picking in Super Bowl XLIX? Based on what we saw Sunday, the Patriots dominant and the defending champion Seahawks simply fortunate, the early view here is that you have to go with the Patriots. Then again, as Tynes will tell you, New England is 0-2 in Glendale.
Head on over to Field Gulls to see how Seattle fans are reacting to their Super Bowl berth. Pats Pulpit has the New England side of the story.
