To the surprise of nobody, the New York Giants announced on Thursday that Coach Spags would be coming back to helm their defense. Of course just because it was expected isn't about to stop the reaction on Twitter -- although the Cardale Jones' press conference would certainly put a dent in it.
Giants players are gonna love Spags. Very energetic & very creative.

The Giants need to get to work on getting Spags the pieces he needs to run the defense he wants.
With Spags returning, you can all but lock up @UDWJPP coming back... Spags needs his pass rushers... #nygiants #giantschat

If that doesn't work, there's a certain defensive end not doing much...
Nothing in the Giants' release announcing return of Steve Spagnuolo about coaxing Michael Strahan out of retirement, so we'll see.

But, one thing we know will change from last year:
What impresses me the most about Spags is his ability to keep a straight face when we give up big plays on third-and-long.
