The New York Giants continued on Tuesday to sculpt the roster they will bring into their off-season program and into their 2015 training camp when they signed two more players to reserve/futures contracts. Tuesday's additions were cornerback Trevin Wade and offensive lineman Emmett Cleary.
Wade, 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, was a 2012 seventh-round pick by the Cleveland Browns. He played 13 games for Cleveland in 2012 and two games for the New Orleans Saints in 2013. He spent most of the 2014 season on the Detroit Lions' practice squad.
In his 15 career regular-season games, Wade has 17 tackles, two passes defended, and seven tackles on special teams. He also has two tackles in two post-season appearances with the Saints.
Cleary is a 6-foot-7, 324-pound offensive tackle. In two seasons he has spent time on the practice squads of the Indianapolis Colts, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cincinnati Bengals. He has never appeared in a regular-season game.
Cleary played with Andre Williams at Boston College.
