Raheem Morris is out of the running for the New York Giants defensive coordinator job, according to a published report.
Just learned the Giants, who met with Raheem Morris on Friday for their DC job are not interested. Next interview? The Redskins.

Morris, currently defensive backs coach with the Washington Redskins, interviewed with the Giants on Friday.
The only other candidate to interview thus far is Buffalo Bills defensive line coach Pepper Johnson, who interviewed on Monday. The Giants have reportedly asked for permission to speak to Steve Spagnuolo, currently the Baltimore Ravens defensive backs coach. Spagnuolo, the Giants' defensive coordinator in 2007 and 2008, is considered by many to be the front-runner for the job.
There is no telling at this point how the ongoing coaching shuffle around the league will impact which coaches eventually become candidates for the post. Stay tuned. Things are just beginning to get interesting.
