This is the last week of fantasy football where we have more than two games to choose from, let's take advantage my friends. If you read my post and used my lineup the last two weeks, you have turned two $25 tourney entries into $250. This week's games have some fantastic storylines, but let's save all of that for twitter. We're here to build lineups, and make a little money. I'm going to jump right into my lineup this week, and spare you the attempt at clever drivel. Below is my FanDuel entry for the $2M NFL Saturday Million tourney. The SB Nation league for this weekend can be found here.
Make sure you hit me up on twitter @mcgallop10, and please comment below, even if you think my picks are da worst. Good luck gamers!!
Joe Flacco, QB BAL $7800
Like Flacco, my twin brother is a Delaware BLUE HEN...just to get that joke out of the way. The Ravens resemble the Giants in their late year momentum push into playoffs and eventually Super Bowls. This year may be similar, and I like Flacco to have a good game vs that annoying team in Baahhston.
C.J. Anderson, RB DEN $8700
Unless Peyton found a legal rejuvenation clinic in Denver in the last few weeks, the Broncos need to stick to their recent formula of pounding the rock and playing staunch defense. Add in the Colts sieve like rush defense, and you have the safest high priced floor play in DFS this week.
Eddie Lacy, RB GB $8400
"Fat" Eddie will look to shoulder the load, especially with news the league MVP Aaron Rodgers' calf injury is worse then initially diagnosed. I think grabbing Anderson and Lacy and saving $700 for other positions instead of Lynch and Murray is the sensible play this week.
Jordy Nelson, WR GB $9000
Jordy and Dez is a tough call, and basically a coin flip to me. But I like pairing Lacy and Jordy together because I think the cheeseheads win, and do a much better job then the Pokes handling the chill of Lambeau in January.
Terrance Williams, WR DAL $5800
This is obviously chasing last weeks performance, but I'm ok with that. Mainly because all teams should focus their defense on Dez and DeMarco, which should leave 4-8 targets for Williams in a potential shootout.
Donte Moncrief, WR IND $5500
Like Williams, Moncrief flashes serious potential one week, and disappears the next. Here's hoping they both show up for the biggest game of their lives.
Owen Daniels, TE BAL $5100
Flacco to Daniels as my "stack" is sadder then the school mascot Blue Hen, so maybe this is fitting. Cheap and a safety valve for Flacco, Owen may also sneak into the endzone. Due to ex-Giant Will Hill planning to shadow Gronk this week, I'm fading him in my tournament lineup. Giants should NEVER have cut Hill.
Justin Tucker, K BAL $4500
Tucker is the young Vinateri, loves the spotlight and has a big leg. And CHEAP.
Seattle Seahawks, DST $5200
Pay up, ya cheapskates.
