The New York Giants' 2015 draft started out with a bang with the selection of offensive lineman Ereck Flowers out of Miam ninth overall. It was a selection that, while it may not have surprised many, certainly puzzled many.

Now, we are getting ready for the second round of the draft. There were a few interesting picks in the first round, such as Phillip Dorsett (WR, Miami) by the Colts, or Laken Tomlinson (OG, Duke) by Detroit, which have shaken up the second round. But, the list of best available prospects reads about how we might have expected.

With the first round officially in the books, let's take a look at the best prospects who could be available for the Giants' pick at 40th overall. The Giants still have potential needs at wide receiver, defensive line, linebacker, and defensive back, so let's concentrate on those positions.
