With Day 1 of the 2015 NFL Draft in the books, the New York Giants still have needs to fill and players to select. Some could even argue that Day 2 is more important, because this is where your backbone is coming from. The Giants have struggled in past years because of Day 2 guys maybe not panning out. They've also won because Day 2 guys stepped up (Steve Smith, Corey Webster, Linval Joseph, Justin Tuck, Chris Snee, among many others).
With that said, let's do a two-round mock with the prospects who are left and predict the draft before tonight! I'm obviously not giving the Giants any more offensive linemen after the pick of Ereck Flowers. For me it's all about defense, defense, defense! So let's take a look.

Analyzing The Giants' Picks
(40) Eddie Goldman, DT, FSU
I believe the Giants will address the defensive front with one of their two Day 2 picks. Goldman makes a ton of sense here. He'd be near close to what BPA they might have and I have the feeling they are committed to addressing both run blocking and run defense this year. They took care of the run blocking with Ereck Flowers, now comes the run defense. At 6-foot-4, 336 pounds, Goldman is a mountain of a man twho can effectively two gap. He can slot right in next to Johnathan Hankins to provide the Giants with some real power inside. He has violent hands and his angry style of play make him a natural at this selection. Strongly thought about going with Preston Smith here as well.
(74) Anthony Harris, FS, Virginia
If I went pure BPA, this pick would likely be Trey Flowers, DE, Arkansas or Paul Dawson, ILB, TCU. Both excellent players who could help out the team. I went with Harris, who isn't all that far behind. Harris has versatility in that he can play both strong safety and free safety, and the Giants have consistently stated that they want their safeties to know both responsibilities. He would fill a huge gap at the safety position.
