A little something different today. At the bottom of the post you will see this week's 10 mock drafts from around the Inter-Google. We have been doing this for months now, so more significantly it's time to look at the total picture of what the mocks have told us.
Iowa offensive tackle Brandon Scherff is the selection in 45 of the mocks we have listed, which works out to 26.2 percent. Alabama safety Landon Collins was selected 16 times (9.3 percent) and Missouri defensive end Shane Ray 15 times (8.7 percent). Miami offensive tackle Ereck Flowers got 12 selections (6.9 percent) and Stanford's Andrus Peat got 10 selections (5.8 percent).
By position, mock drafters went offensive line more often than any other position. An offensive lineman was the choice 76 times (44.2 percent). Defensive ends were selected 37 times (21.5 percent), defensive tackles 17 times (9.9 percent), safeties 17 times (9.9 percent) and wide receivers 14 times (8.1 percent).
What does it all mean? Probably nothing. It is, however, interesting data to look at.
Your thoughts, Giants fans?
