The New York Giants, fresh off a pair of victories, don't play again until meeting the Atlanta Falcons next Sunday. There is, however, a full slate of NFL Week 4 games on the schedule for this Sunday. It is a given that many of you will be watching, so here is a primer for the day's action.
No NFC East teams will be involved in 1 p.m. ET games, but there are some intriguing match-ups. Among them, the Green Bay Packers visit the Chicago Bears, the Baltimore Ravens host the Carolina Panthers, the New York Jets host the Detroit Lions and the Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders meet in London.
As far as games of real interest to Giants fans, the action picks up with the late afternoon games. The 3-0 Philadelphia Eagles visit the 1-2 San Francisco 49ers at 4:25 p.m. Wouldn't this be a nice time for the 49ers to re-discover their winning formula? The Falcons also play at 4:25, facing the Minnesota Vikings.
The Sunday night game find the 2-1 Dallas Cowboys hosting the 1-2 New Orleans Saints. The Saints, of course, are notoriously worse on the road than at home. They could help the Giants by finding a way to win at the Jerry-Dome.
