The New York Jets (1-1) host the Chicago Bears at MetLife Stadium in this week's Monday Night Football game (8:30 p.m. ET/ESPN). The home-standing Jets are 1.5-point favorites.
While you are still celebrating the Giants' victory over the Houston Texans on Sunday and beginning the wiat for Thursday night's match-up vs. the Washington Redskins, use this as an open thread to discuss Jets-Bears.
I know it's difficult to ever, under any circumstances root for Rex Ryan and the Jets. Truth is, though, other than giving you fodder to poke fun at the Jets a Bears' victory is something that you probably don't want. The Giants are 1-2 and their playoff path, even at this early juncture of the season, appears to most likely be via a wild-card berth. Any victory by an AFC team like the Jets over an NFC team like the Bears is helpful.
I'm curious, Giants fans. Could you actually bring yourself to pull for a victory by the Jets?
