Let's put an end to the question, and the speculation, before you even ask. Per a published report, and despite media speculation (yes, @Jason LaCanfora, I'm looking at you), rookie wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. reportedly won't play Thursday when the New York Giants face the Washington Redskins.
The beauty of reports (last wk, this wk) that Odell Beckham is ready to play: Someone, someday will be right. But he won't play Thursday.

NJ.com confirmed that Beckham has not yet received clearance to begin practicing.
LaCanfora had reported last week that Beckham would make his NFL debut against the Redskins.
That always seemed hard to fathom since about all Beckham has done since leaving a practice prior to a preseason game against the New York Jets about six weeks ago is catch passes off a JUGS machine and field a few punts.
"I think there's improvement in Odell ... there has been every week," said head coach Tom Coughlin. "I don't think he's there. We're trying to be as patient as we can with the idea that when we get him back we're going to have him."
Offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo said last week that it would be a "bonus" for the Giants whenever the first-round pick actually made it onto the field.
It appears as if that won't be this week.
