The first half was a tale of two quarters for the New York Giants. The first quarter was filled with the miscues on offense and special teams we have come to fear from the team. A fumble by Donnell and a rare bad snap by Zak DeOssie kept the game tied at 0 despite the Giants controlling the Texans on offense and defense.
The second quarter saw the Giants finally start to play clean football. They continued to dominate the Texans, and actually capitalized on the opportunities they created. Victor Cruz scored his first touchdown since week 4 of last year, and his first touchdown at home since 2012. Rashad Jennings later capitalized on an Antrel Rolle interception to punch it in for his own touchdown.
