From reports filtering out of East Rutherford on Monday, it sounds like New York Giants rookie wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. might be 2-3 weeks away from returning. It also sounds like head coach Tom Coughlin is tired of being badgered with Beckham questions.
Will Odell Beckham practice this week? "I doubt that very much," Coughlin said. "He may be a couple, three weeks away."

Coughlin snaps when asked about Beckham. "Let's let him get back before we talk about him."

Coughlin also said he went to Beckham recently and said "lets not have another setback." So that means there was a #setback?

Coughlin also gives plea to media to get off the injured Beckham's back: "Let's let the kid get better. Focus on players who will play."

I'm at Giants camp today. Coughlin upset about Odell Beckham questions. "Let's all calm down and let the kid get better!"

So, now we know what we have suspected for a while -- the Giants will have to go through their first few games without the rookie they were counting on to help make their passing game go. Perhaps Beckham will be ready three weeks from now, but considering how little he has actually practiced it is hard to imagine him being a major contributor the first half of the season.
