The New York Giants lead the Pittsburgh Steelers, 13-3, in preseason play at MetLife Stadiu. It was an offensively-challenged first half for both teams, especially the Giants' first-team offense.
The Giants' first-team offense hit the one big play on the 73-yard touchdown run by Rashad Jennings, but did nothing else. In four series, Eli Manning went 0-for-2 and was sacked once. Jennings finished with five carries for 85 yards.
Josh Brown made a 45-yard field goal in his bid to hold off Brandon McManus for the placekicking job. McManus made a 46-yard field goal with 38 seconds left in the first half after a 12-play, 44-yard drive engineered by backup quarterback Ryan Nassib.
Enjoy your second half, Giants fans!
