[UPDATE: Schwartz injury called 'serious.' Harris' shoulder injury could cost him roster spot.]
When New York Giants starting left guard Geoff Schwartz was carted off the field midway through the second quarter of Friday's preseason game vs. the New York Jets with what the Giants are calling a dislocated toe. Head coach Tom Coughlin reportedly called the injury "serious."
"Hard to play with it," Coughlin said.
Geoff Schwartz will have an MRI tomorrow, which will be telling. Giants hoping for just a few weeks, not the alternative. Both in play.

Rookie WR Marcus Harris has AC joint shoulder injury. Out 3-4 weeks. "I hope they keep me around," he said. #nyg
