The Giants will be looking for improvement from a first-team offense that has sputtered throughout three preseason games. Eli Manning is only 7-of-16, Victor Cruz has yet to catch a pass and the blocking of the first-team offensive line has been inconsistent.
"Based on last week I would hope that there is a significant production and better quality of play from our one's certainly," Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said.
Earlier in the week Coughlin had said he would consider extending playing time for the starters in the fifth and final preseason game if he has to in order to find some rhythm offensively.
Injury Update
Odell Beckham Jr., (hamstring), James Brewer (back), Charles Brown (shoulder), Peyton Hillis (ankle/foot), Trindon Holliday (hamstring) are among the Giants who are not expected to play Friday night.
