Bill Belichick appears to have accepted John Mara's Ice Bucket Challenge

Patriots' coach says he will "take care" of Mara's challenge.

When New York Giants president John Mara accepted an Ice Bucket Challenge from Victor Cruz on Monday, he challenged New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, Patriots owner Robert Kraft and New York Jets owner Woody Johnson to do the same. It appears that Belichick has accepted.

"There's a lot of people that would like to dump ice water on me," Belichick told WEEI Radio on Monday. "I plan on doing something with it, so we'll take care of it."

The Ice Bucket Challenge is a social media phenomenon that raises awareness for Lou Gehrig's Diseage, commonly referred to as ALS. Those who accept the challenge within 24 hours get to nominate someone else to withstand the ice bucket treatment. Those who do not are asked to make a donation to the cause.

We will see later today if Belichick follows through. If he does that should be fun to watch.
