Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was nowhere to be found at New York Giants practice Monday afternoon. After practice head coach Tom Coughlin revealed that the rookie wide receiver had gone for tests on his troublesome hamstring, which has kept him out of practice since the first day of training camp.

Coughlin did not reveal the type of tests Beckham was having, or where he was having them.

The team's first-round pick missed much of spring practice due to the hamstring, and left the opening practice when he got tangled up with Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

Sunday, Coughlin had expressed frustration with the inability to get Beckham on the practice field:

"We're trying to put a team together. We saw too much of that in the spring. Be nice to get him back practicing.

"He actually looks pretty good out there moving around, catching the ball, he doesn't favor anything. Just hoping it's a real short amount of time.

"They're not going to let him go if he's in danger of hurting himself. I can stand there and fight all I want, but it's not gonna happen. When they feel he can go and not be at risk of re-occurring injury they'll let him go."

Whatever testing Beckham is undergoing will likely give the Giants a better idea how long they will be without their top draft pick.
