Middle linebacker Jon Beason, out until at least the beginning of the regular season with a broken bone in his foot, will be the only member of the New York Giants to begin training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, per a variety of media reports.
Offensive lineman Will Beatty (leg) and John Jerry (knee) and wide receiver Mario Manningham (knee) will be considered limited, per those same reports. David Wilson, cleared to return earlier on Monday, is likely to be a full participant.
The Giants begin practice on Tuesday with a 1:20 p.m. ET workout at Quest Diagnostics Training Center. Players reported today and held a conditioning evaluation. Beason did not participate, while all other players reportedly took part in some fashion. Quarterback Eli Manning did not run sprints, instead going through throwing drills.
