New York Giants 10th most value sports franchise -- Forbes

Where do the Giants rank among other sports franchises in terms of value.

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

The New York Giants are the 10th most valuable sports franchise in the world, according to Forbes. The Giants, per Forbes, are worth $1.55 billion.

The only NFL franchises worth more than the Giants are the Dallas Cowboys (No. 5, $2.3 billion), New England Patriots (No. 8, $1.8 billion) and Washington Redskins (No. 9, $1.7 billion).

The top three teams on Forbes' list are soccer teams. Real Madrid ($3.44 billion), Barcelona ($3.2 billion) and Manchester United ($2.81 billion). The New York Yankees, with a value of $2.5 billion, are No. 4 on the list.

That value, of course, won't help the Giants in the NFC East standings. I'm sure it also annoying to some to see the Giants with a value lower than that of the Cowboys or Redskins. Still, top 10 across all sports is nothing to sneeze at.

We know, though, that what really matters to you is that the Giants are No. 1 in your heart.
