With training camp nearing ever closer, Big Blue View continues to break down the 90-man roster New York will take to training camp on July 21. Today, let's get to know Giants' offensive tackle Troy Kropog.
2013 Season in Review
Since being drafted in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans, Troy Kropog has experienced little success in the NFL. The 6-foot-6, 295-pound Tulane alum appeared in seven games in three years for Tennessee before being cut in 2012. He then had a short stint with the Jacksonville Jaguars in before being cut and signed by the Minnesota Vikings. In 2013 he was a member of the Washington Redskins' practice squad.
There's no shortage of question marks on the Giants' offensive line and Kropog shouldn't be ruled out just yet. While the odds are stacked against him, if things don't improve for Chris Snee and William Beatty -- and he impresses coaches in training camp and the preseason-- he could have a shot at the final 53-man roster.
