New York Giants news, 6/9: Jets rookie Calvin Pryor 'hates' the Giants and Patriots

What did we ever do to Calvin Pryor?

Rich Schultz

Good morning, New York Giants fans! Let's get this week started off right.

You may have heard New York Jets rookie Calvin Pryor stating his "hate" for the Giants and New England Patriots. Nothing surprising there, especially regarding the Jets' main AFC East rival. It just kinda seems like the first-round pick is... bored, maybe?

Not a surprise: the NFL Draft will moving out of New York, at least for 2015. Radio City Music Hall officials have informed the league office that the famed venue won't be available next April or May. This doesn't really do much for me one way or the other; I never attended the draft and never seriously considered, but I'm wondering how New York fans who've went in the past and/or were maybe considering it next year feel.

NFL.com lists the highest-paid players for 2014. Giants quarterback Eli Manning checks in at No. 14.

Giants newcomers Geoff Schwartz, Walter Thurmond and Jameel McClain are fitting in just fine with their new teammates, the Post reports.

Former Giants lineman Luke Petitgout is in trouble with the police again.

One of the most NFL things ever: the league has a stupid-long list of demands for Minneapolis, which will be hosting the Super Bowl in 2018. The Daily News took the opportunity to say commissioner Roger Goodell "might be a bigger diva than Beyonce." Seems unfair to 'Yonce, if you ask me.

Kid Cruz, a horse named after Giants receiver Victor Cruztook home the undercard at Belmont this weekend.
