Depending upon the health of Mario Manningham and whether or not they believe the diminutive Trindon Holliday can occasionally be used on offense the New York Giants might have a need for at least one more wide receiver to emerge. Kris Adams is one of the candidates to do that, so let's have a look at Adams.
2013 Season In Review
Adams was with the Giants during training camp in 2013, but was waived injured after breaking his leg during a preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He spent the season on the Giants' injured reserve list.
2014 Outlook
Adams, who caught two passes while playing in three games for the Indianapolis Colts in 2012, impressed the Giants enough before being hurt last season that they have brought him back for another look. The first four wide receiver slots are settled with Victor Cruz, Odell Beckham Jr., Reuben Randle and Jerrel Jernigan. Manningham could be the fifth wide receiver, but has battled knee trouble and his status is uncertain. The 6-foot-3, 194-pound Adams is one of several unheralded receivers who might have an opportunity if Manningham isn't healthy.
