Bob Donnan-US PRESSWIRE

The New York Giants report to training camp on July 21, a little more than a month from now. Between now and then, we have been breaking down the 90-man roster the team will bring to camp. Today, let's get to know rookie defensive end Emmanuel Dieke.

2013 Season In Review

Pegged as a player with great size, quickness, change of direction and work ethic, Dieke was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Georgia Tech. Last year, Dieke recorded 28 tackles, two sacks, two tackles for a loss and one forced fumble in 13 games. In his four-year career, the 6-foot-6, 270-pound defensive end recorded five sacks.

2014 Season Outlook

The Giants' presently have eight listed defensive ends on the team, including four (Mathias Kiwanuka, Damontre Moore, Jason Pierre-Paul, Robert Ayers) that have locked-in roster spots. Dieke will compete with Kendrick Adams, Jordan Stanton and Kerry Wynn for potentially one spot.
