The 2014 BBV Community Mock Draft rolls on. We have four more picks today.
56. San Francisco 49ers -- Kareem Martin, DE, UNC
Our pretend GM, '49ers,' did not provide an explanation.
57. San Diego Chargers -- Cyril Richardson, OG, Baylor
Pretend GM 'Giantstep' says:
One the biggest guards in the draft and quick for his size. Might be a reach here but he fills a need they desperately need. Making them have a possible solid o-line for the 2014 season.
58. New Orleans Saints, Marcus Roberson, CB, Florida
Pretend GM 'The Curse' says:
Physical, bump-and-run CB that is aggressive and will fit in well with Rob Ryan's defensive scheme. Will need to work on technique and continue to build strength and overall conditioning to improve durability.
59. Indianapolis Colts -- Keith McGill, CB, Utah
Pretend GM 'Ejaay' says:
One of the new kind of CBs, Tall at 6-foot-3 but still has the moves as seen at the combine (with a 4.51 40-yard dash). He will have to prove himself during camp to get himself into the second cornerback position but he will eventually be named the starter at some point of this year. One of the reasons he's still available is due to him being 25 years old.
The colts might have liked to get a center at this round but that isn't happening (with Richburg and Martin off the board). Their GM had OLB Marcus Smith high on his board but he got snatched up before the Colts could react and the WR's left on the board aren't as likeable prospects as the Colts want them to be.
McGill fits a need and with this being their first pick in the draft, they have to address their needs early in order to get a boost from their 2014 draft class this year.
