Three more picks are in as the 2014 Big Blue View Community Mock Draft continues. The Dallas Cowboys, Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets have all made their second-round selections.

47. Dallas Cowboys -- Jordan Matthews, WR, Vanderbilt

Our pretend GM is 'pataroons'. He explains:

It was very tough to resist picking a defensive player here, but the player that jumps off the board for me is wide receiver Jordan Matthews. If I were the GM, I would not be able to resist snagging him with the 47th pick. And, as a side note, I consulted with my Cowboys friend and he said, "If the Cowboys don't pick a safety in round 1 or 2, I will eat 10 bugs." I will hold him to that.

Matthews (6-foot-3, 212) reminds me of a Hakeem Nicks clone, including his 10-3/8-inch hands. He was the most productive receiver in SEC history and would be an excellent possession receiver lined up across from Dez Bryant. [Prospect Profile]

48. Baltimore Ravens -- Jason Verrett, CB, TCU

Our pretend GM for the Ravens in this round is 'Tyree's Helmet'. He explains:

With Ward off the board this is a good pick up for the Ravens. He can go inside or outside, and with no real depth behind Smith or Ladarius Webb this makes a ton of sense, even more when the three biggest threats to them in the AFC all have good slot receivers (Wes, Julian, and T.Y.). So while it would help Average Joe to have another O-lineman or receiver or two, I think the value here is too good to pass up, being that he is ranked on their big board higher than where he is being picked. [Prospect Profile]

49. New York Jets -- Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Washington

Our pretend GM is 'GBOUTON'. He explains:

After going wide receiver in the first round the Jets still have a few holes on offense to fill. The value at guard isn't there but should be there in the next few rounds. The way the draft has unfolded and TE being so thin after the top four, ASJ has to be the choice as he will give the team another big red zone target which will help Geno develop. [Prospect Profile]
