Giants' Free Agency 2014: Matt Flynn staying in Green Bay

It's been a busy day for the Giants, even with no reported signings.

Scratch Matt Flynn as a potential backup quarterback for the New York Giants. The journeyman signal-caller, who has had most of his success with the Green Bay Packers, cancelled a visit to New Jersey on Tuesday and re-signed with Green Bay.

As of now, there is no word on anything happening between the Giants and Josh Freeman, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Minnesota Vikings quarterback who was also supposed to visit with the Giants on Tuesday.

Former Vikings All-Pro defensive tackle Kevin Williams was also reportedly visiting with the Giants today, but no word has yet come out as to whether or not Williams will join the Giants. New York could still use depth at the tackle position.

Finally, running back Chris Johnson visited with the New York Jets on Tuesday but reportedly did not visit the Giants.

All in all, a pretty busy day for an offseason Monday where all we are really doing is counting down the hours until the 2014 NFL Draft.
