The 2014 Big Blue View Community Mock Draft has reached the 25th pick of the first round, and with that pick our pretend GM for the San Diego Chargers, 'Giantstep,' selects Virginia Tech cornerback Kyle Fuller. Our own 'Invictus' calls Fuller the "premier zone corner in this year's draft."
'Giantsstep' explains:
Do you know who the starting cornerbacks are for the San Diego Chargers currently? They need to get starting caliber corners to contend with the likes of Denver for the division. They ranked 29th in pass defense. He is physical, has good hands but lacks some size of the earlier picked cornerbacks. He has great instinct to the ball and has great leaping ability. He was also a team captain for the Hokies. He also played special teams for the Hokies as a gunner.
