The Ravens reached a four-year deal with Jacoby Jones.— Jeff Zrebiec (@jeffzrebiecsun) March 12, 2014
Valentine's View: This one is a bummer for the Giants. Jones would have vastly upgraded their return game, and provided depth at wide receiver.

[UPDATE 10:30 AM EDT]
UFA G Shelley Smith is visiting the Giants today, source confirmed.— Adam Caplan (@caplannfl) March 12, 2014
Valentine's View: Smith is a 26-year-old three-year veteran who played in 24 games for the St. Louis Rams over the past two seasons, starting eight. He had a -5.5 grade from Pro Football Focus in 2013. Sounds like a depth move, maybe to replace james Brewer.
The New York Giants today officially announced that placekicker Josh Brown and safety Stevie Brown have re-signed with the team.
Josh Brown made 23-of-26 field goals last season. Stevie Brown missed the 2013 season with a torn ACL. He tied for second in the NFL with eight interceptions in 2012.
The Giants also cut linebacker Marcus Dowtin.
On the rumor mill, linebacker Jon Beason is drawing interest from the Denver Broncos and defensive end Justin Tuck is visiting the Oakland Raiders.
Use this as your open thread for now to discuss all the Giants-related twists and turns.
