Welp, free agency is in full swing. The Giants have made some big additions, but losses come with that.
Safety Ryan Mundy has agreed to a two-year deal with the Chicago Bears

Mundy was signed as a free agent to replace Kenny Phillips in 2013 and played well as a starting safety, and then as a back up as Will Hill stepped to the fore. Mundy, a 5 year veteran, has never missed a game, and was Pro Football Focus' 37th ranked safety in 2013.
The most painful loss for Giants' fans is Linval Joseph. Today he agreed to a 5-year, $31.5 million contract with the Minnesota Vikings.
Vikings gave former Giants DT Linval Joseph a 5-yr, $31.5 million deal, per source. Big loss for NYG.

Joseph was drafted by the Giants in the 2nd round of the 2010 draft, and he became a fixture along the Giants' defensive line after Barry Cofield left via free agency before the 2011 season.
It's unclear, at the moment, how the Giants will replace Joseph in their defensive tackle rotation, but there is a lot of free agency and the draft still to come.
