Monday Night Football - Packers vs. Falcons: TV, Time, Odds, & More

Good evening New York Giants fans!

We cap off Week 14 of the 2014 NFL season with the Falcons visiting the Packers at the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field. The Packers (9-3) are functioning like a well-oiled machine and look like a serious Superbowl contender. On the other side of the field is the Atlanta Falcons (5-7). The Falcons are two games away from clenching their second losing record in two years, but are -- either amazingly or sadly, depending on your view of the NFC South -- still in the playoff hunt.

If the Falcons happen to beat the Packers, they will be 6-7 and in sole possession of first place in the NFC South. If they lose, they will still be tied for the lead with the New Orleans Saints at 5-8.

After watching the Falcons beat the NFC-leading Arizona Cardinals last week, the Packers can not afford to take this game lightly.

However, the timing of the game certainly does the Packers a favor. The Falcons are historically better at home than they are on the road. And it doesn't get more of a "road" game for a dome team like Atlanta than December at Lambeau Field.

TV: ESPN

Time: 8:30 p.m.
