New York Giants Depth Chart: Who are these guys, anyway?

The roster has undergone massive changes due to injuries. Let's see what the depth chart looks like.

With the myriad of injuries suffered in recent weeks by the New York Giants, including five players landing on injured reserve in a single day this week, the roster and the depth chart look nothing like the one the Giants began the season with.

Let's take a look at the team's updated depth chart.

There are a couple of things to note here. First, James Brewer is the only backup tackle listed on the depth chart. Brewer won't play Sunday vs. the Tennessee Titans, so who is the backup tackle? John Jerry slid out to right tackle in an emergency last week. The guess here is they would put Brandon Mosley at tackle this week if they had to.

Another intriguing, maybe even exciting, thing is to see how many snaps the Giants would actually give backup running back Orleans Darkwa if Rashad Jennings does not play.

WR Rueben Randle Corey Washington
LT Will Beatty James Brewer
LG Weston Richburg Dallas Reynolds Eric Herman
C J.D. Walton Weston Richburg Dallas Reynolds
RG John Jerry Brandon Mosley
RT Justin Pugh James Brewer
TE Larry Donnell Daniel Fells Adrien Robinson
WR Odell Beckham Jr Preston Parker Kevin Ogletree
QB Eli Manning Ryan Nassib
FB Henry Hynoski
RB Rashad Jennings Andre Williams Orleans Darkwa Chris Ogbonnaya

The big thing to note here is that Damontre Moore is listed as the starting defensive end opposite Jason Pierre-Paul. There are now only three defensive ends on the roster.

Mark Herzlich is listed as the backup at both middle linebacker and on the strong side. Herzlich is questionable for Sunday. Undrafted rookie James Davidson, just signed off the practice squad, is the only other reserve linebacker. No wonder there has been a lot of talk this week about the Giants relying heavily on the three-safety package, and possibly getting rookie Nat Berhe involved as the 'box' safety replacing a linebacker.

The third thing to note is that Chykie Brown is listed as the third-team right cornerback, but based on playing time the past couple of weeks that really isn't correct. Brown played 55 snaps last week, nearly full-time. Jayron Hosley did not play at all and Chandler Fenner only appeared on special teams.

Finally, Quintin Demps is listed ahead of Stevie Brown at free safety. A week ago, however, Brown played 68 snaps and Demps only 26.
