The New York Giants might have had a disappointing record this season, but one player who surprised beyond anyone's wildest dreams was rookie wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
Beckham continued his assault on the record books, and his on-field campaign for Rookie Of The Year, in December. The result? He was named the Pepsi Offensive Rookie Of the Month for December.
Beckham's play has been so electric that being named Rookie Of The Month is almost an afterthought. Even when he's getting awards, he's making history.
.@Giants Odell Beckham Jr (@OBJ_3) had 606 rec yards in Dec, most by rookie in any month in @NFL history

Odell Beckham Jr (@OBJ_3) & @AnquanBoldin (2003) are only WRs to win @NFL Offensive Rookie of Month Award multiple times

But Beckham did Boldin one better by being the first receiver to ever win the award in consecutive months, underscoring his dominance both on and off the field.
Beckham finished the season with 91 receptions for 1,305 yards, and 12 touchdowns. In 12 games.
In May, Beckham was a long-shot to win the rookie of the year award. In August and September, the idea was a laughable pipe dream for homers. Now, it would be stunning if he didn't win the award.
