EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New York Giants, seeking to end the season with four straight victories, trail the Philadelphia Eagles, 17-16, at the half.

The Giants got three Josh Brown field goals and a 1-yard touchdown run by Andre Williams. The Eagles got a pair of touchdown passes from Mark Sanchez, a 44-yarder to Jordan Matthews and a 1-yarder to Brent Celek. Eagles' kicker Cody Parkey ended the half with a 32-yard field goal to give Philly the lead.

Eli Manning did not have a great first half, completing only 14-of-30 passes. although he did end up with 232 passing yards. He did, however, surpass a couple of milestones. He surpassed his previous single-season high in completions, which was 359. Manning also surpassed 4,000 yards passing for the fourth time in his career.

Rueben Randle had an outstanding half for the Giants, catching five passes for 134 yards.

Only two quarters of Giants football remaining in the 2014 season. Use this as your second-half open thread.

Injury News

Apparently, safety was the position of choice for Giants' injuries today. Nat Berhe suffered a knee injury while blocking on a kickoff return. His return is questionable. Stevie Brown is out with a left foot sprain suffered when he intercepted a deep Mark Sanchez pass. The play was nulllified by a questionable pass interference call on Chykie Brown that eventually led to an Eagles' touchdown.
