Call it a snub if you want, but sensational New York Giants rookie Odell Beckham Jr. did not earn a spot in the 2015 Pro Bowl. Rosters were announced Tuesday night.

The eight wide receivers who made the Pro Bowl roster were Antonio Brown (Pittsburgh Steelers), Dez Bryant (Dallas Cowboys), A.J. Green (Cincinnati Bengals), T.Y. Hilton (Indianapolis Colts), Calvin Johnson (Detroit Lions), Julio Jones (Atlanta Falcons), Jordy Nelson (Green Bay Packers) and Demaryius Thomas (Denver Broncos).

Giants.com says that Beckham is a first alternate, so he is almost certain to end up in the game, anyway. Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is a fourth alternate.

Beckham is tied with Jarvin Landry (Miami Dolphins) for tops among rookies in receptions with 79. His 1,120 yards receiving lead all rookies.

Our Big Blue View poll earlier Tuesday showed that Giants fans were optimistic that Beckham would make the team, despite missing four games this season. Sixty-four percent (317) of the 496 voters thought Beckham would be selected to the team.

Thoughts, Giants' fans? Disappointed? Surprised? Is this the result you expected? Let us know.
