Philadelphia Eagles' fans who have seen enough of Mark Sanchez and were hoping that the out-of-the-playoffs Eagles would take a look at quarterback Matt Barkley Sunday against the New York Giants are going to be disappointed. Chip Kelly, getting his best Tom Coughlin "we're trying to win a game" attitude on, will stick with Sanchez Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
The Eagles are 3-4 with Sanchez at quarterback, and have lost three straight. The ex-New York Jets quarterback has a completion percentage of 64.1, but has a whopping 10 interceptions to 12 touchdown passes.
The last time Sanchez played at MetLife Stadium was a 2013 preseason game during which then-Giants defensive tackle Marvin Austin simultaneously separated Sanchez's shoulder and separated him from his Jets' career.
You have to wonder where Sanchez will end up next. I would love to know if Philly fans think the Eagles would keep him, which seems doubtful. Certainly, he hasn't shown anyone enough for anyone to hand him a starting job.
