Odell Beckham Jr. continued his amazing rookie season Sunday by breaking Jeremy Shockey's New York Giants franchise record for receptions by a rookie.
Beckham caught a wide receiver screen in the second quarter for his fourth catch of the game and 75th of the season. That broke the record of 74 receptions that Shockey established in 2002. Last week Beckham passed Shockey's previous franchise record of receiving yards for a rookie, which had been 894. Beckham has 24 yards receiving Sunday, leaving him just four yards short of 1,000 for the season.
Beckham scored the Giants' first touchdown on Sunday, catching a 9-yard pass from Eli Manning.
Beckham has done all of this despite missing the entire preseason and the first four games of the regular season due to a persistent hamstring injury.
Don't forget to purchase your commemorative Beckham t-shirt, celebrating his fantastic catch against the Dallas Cowboys. Perhaps we will soon be selling a Rookie of the Year one, as well.
