Running back Rashad Jennings (ankle) and cornerback Jayron Hosley, a healthy scratch for the fourth straight week, head the New York Giants inactive list for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams. After that, the remaining seven inactive players are guys who may or may not know were even part of the 53-man roster.
Offensive lineman Adam Gettis, offensive lineman Eric Herman, tight end Jerome Cunningham, linebacker James Davidson and defensive tackle Dominique Hamilton are the other five inactive Giants. All five were either signed from other organizations or promoted from the Giants practice squad in recent weeks due to the rash of injuries suffered by the Giants.
Hosley, a 2012 third-round pick, has not played in a game since Week 11. Most likely, Hosley is not part of the team's future.
Only Jennings, the veteran running back, was on the 53-man roster when the season began. Hosley was serving a league-imposed four-game suspension.
