Like most of the bowl games that make up the appetizer course for the college football bowl season, there are really only two reasons to watch these games. The first is because you have a direct rooting interest in the game. The second is that you just love football and want to spend your Saturday watching teams you don't normally see on TV.

From a draft perspective, these games don't have much of a draw, though it gives players who might be sleepers a chance for some national recognition.

If there's one player to keep your eye on for this game, it's could be University of Texas - El Paso (UTEP) tight end Eric Tomlinson. He is a monster of a tight end at 6-foot-7, 270 pounds. Teams could be interested in him based on his frame alone, with the possibility of him being a huge size mis-match, or even becoming an athletic tackle.

Utah State's inside linebacker Zach Vigil is another guy to keep your eye on. He is likely a late-rounder or priority free agent, but he is also a very versatile player. He can play inside or outside linebacker, and contribute on special teams.
