NFL Power Rankings, Week 14: The Giants are ahead of, well, a couple of teams

New, comments

Rock bottom? Hey, the Giants can still fall even farther in NFL Power Rankings.

Phil Sears-USA TODAY Sports

When it comes to 2014 NFL Power Rankings it has come to this for the New York Giants. When you look at them you are simply looking to see how many teams media analysts think are worse than Big Blue. With a 3-9 record and a seven-game losing streak, highlighted by blowing a 21-0 lead to the pathetic Jacksonville Jaguars, the answer is not many.

SB Nation has the Giants ranked No. 30. Only this week's opponent, the Tennessee Titans (No. 31) and the Oakland Raiders are ranked below the Giants.

Pro Football Talk gives the Giants a little credit, putting them at No. 25. That's still ahead of Jacksonville (No. 28) and the New York Jets (No. 31).

The Detroit Free Press puts the Giants at No. 27, one spot BEHIND the Jaguars.

The New York Daily News has the Giants at No. 26.

These are utterly meaningless for the Giants at this point. They really are just another indication of how far the Giants have fallen from where they want to be.
