Can the New York Giants match their season-high three-game winning streak by going on the road this Sunday and defeating the St. Louis Rams? Oddsmakers don't think so, establishing the 5-9 Giants as 5.5-point underdogs to the 6-8 Rams.

The Giants have been unable to defeat teams with winning records this season, going 0-8 in such contests. The Rams are not one of those teams, and they are quarterbacked by middling journeyman Shaun Hill, but they are an up-and-coming young team. The Rams do boast victories this season over the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers, both of whom defeated the Giants, as well as the Denver Broncos.

The Rams boast an impressive defense that has allowed just 12 points in the last three weeks, including shutout victories over the Oakland Raiders and Washington Redskins.

St. Louis will also have the advantage Sunday of added rest, having lost to the Arizona Cardinals last Thursday.

This one promises to be a good test for the Giants.
