EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The (4-9) New York Giants can guarantee themselves a third-place finish in the NFC East with a victory today over the 3-9 Washington Redskins. That, of course, is small consolation in a second straight lost season, but it is something.

Game time is 1 p.m. and the game will be televised on FOX. After breaking a seven-game losing streak by defeating the Tennessee Titans, the Giants are 7-point favorites. The Redskins have lost five straight games.
