The injury New York Giants running back Michael Cox suffered late in Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks looked gruesome on television replays. They didn't lie. Cox suffered a fractured left leg when he was hit low by Jeremy Lane after catching a swing pass from quarterback Eli Manning.

Cox, a second-year running back, saw his most extensive playing time of the season Sunday night. He ran twice for six yards and caught two passes for nine yards. He also returned two kickoffs for 33 yards.

Running back Peyton Hillis left Sunday's game with a concussion. That means the only truly healthy running back left on the Giants' roster is rookie Andre Williams. Rashad Jennings is still working his way back from an MCL sprain. You have to think the Giants will add a running back during the week. Among players available are Kendall Gaskins, who was with the Giants in training camp, and former Giant Andre Brown.
